Monthly General Astrology Forecast June 2019 – Just Do It!

Monthly General Astrology Forecast June 2019

  • Establish equality
  • Don’t get caught up in the talk – have the experience
  • Just Do It

All of us can plant the seeds of our long term future this June. The new Moon in quick-thinking, fast talking Gemini can see us all swept up in the idea of the new. The question is: can we carry it through? There’s a need for focus and constructive action this month otherwise all that may happen is we talk about what we’re going to do – but don’t follow through on it. Talk is cheap and actions speak louder than words. We all know the ‘someday’ individual who talks a good game but never actually brings one. Don’t be that person everybody has met at some point or another. The one with the grand plan (this may always be changing), which centres around them leaving the fulfilment centre at Amalgamated Nuts & Grommets the day they launch their business/finish that manuscript/land that better job/enrol on that course/sell that idea. And we all know where we will find them five years down the track. That’s right. Still at Amalgamated Nuts & Grommets and decidedly unfulfilled and still talking about their someday plans.

The reason I use this example is that while the new Moon in Gemini hands us ideas where can use to create the future, there’s a distinct possibility that unless we remain focussed we won’t get past the talking stage. And even talks could become deadlocked. What we all need is a daring, bold approach to those future visions which Chiron in Aries is trying to give us while Ceres in Sagittarius is about compromise or control to obtain freedom. There is a price for freedom and yes, for those plans. Ahead of the Mutable Grand Cross – an extremely rare event on the 10thth depending on your time zone.We need to maintain control but know when to compromise. Otherwise all that will happen is we talk about what we will do ‘someday’. In the outer world, this Grand Cross between the Sun in Gemini, Moon in Virgo, Jupiter in Sagittarius and Neptune in Pisces could see deadlocks in discussions, confusion and lack of direction happening. Don’t get lost in your future fantasy – take the necessary steps to live it. And this means having a plan.

Mars in Cancer is set to oppose both Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn this month while Mercury and Mars meet in Cancer on the 18th. Mars in Cancer can create intense emotional energy which if not directed into an activity, can literally result in explosions. Mars is ruler of Aries – a fire sign, while Cancer is a water sign. What do we get when we mix fire and water? That’s right – steam.Steam powered the first engines but we also talk about ‘letting off steam’. All energy has to go somewhere. The full Moon in Sagittarius on the 17th can bring out the restless spirit in even the most dedicated homebody (again, a Cancer metaphor). We may all chafe against anyone or anything which we perceive as restricting us or holding us back. So ensure that energy is channelled to power the engine that propels you forward to those dreams otherwise once Mars opposes Pluto in the sign of authority – Capricorn, this may literally come to a head.

Mercury retroshadow – the period immediately before a retrograde when Mercury still direct travels through the area of the sky it will later backtrack, begins on the 20th. This is what I like to call Retrograde Lite when we may begin to feel the effects of what is to come and when we need to start to bring business and communication projects to a conclusion if we can, and get those important papers signed.

st brings the Summer Solstice and the longest day in the Northern hemisphere as the Sun enters Cancer. And of course the shortest one in the Southern. The year pivots on this day no matter whether we’re above or below the equator. It is always a productive time to look at what we have achieved so far and to make a fresh commitment to what we want to attain or experience in the remaining six months of 2019. The 23rd sees Venus in Gemini oppose Jupiter in Sagittarius.

Don’t just talk about love – experience it. This day also sees Vesta and Uranus meet in Taurus which is a Venus ruled sign. The other more subtle hidden theme of this month is gender bias at the top – especially in the ‘established’ professions – especially banking, finance and Fortune 500 companies. There may be fresh demands to share power and for more equality. Others could quite literally be dealing with this closer to home and asking whether housework , childcare and other responsibilities are shared equally or if one party is expected to do more than the other purely based on their gender or perceived role within the family. This can include the unmarried sibling who is therefore expected to take on more than their fair share of looking after an elderly parent purely on the basis they have no partner and/or children. Establish a new kind of power sharing and equality now. And not one based on roles or gender.

Mercury’s entry into Leo on the 27th could break any deadlocks and deliver creative solutions to issues dusted with a dash of romance and passionate intent. Just remember – the planet of communication is in retroshadow. The promise is there but like those ideas, it has to be kept to become real. Our words are our intentions this June. Follow through to create your future.

In a nutshell: June offers us all the chance to kickstart our future. But to create it we need to do more than just dream or talk it up. We need to take action. Just Do It, this June.

Astrology of March 2019 – Uranus Enters Taurus – Astro Butterfly

March 2019 comes with one of the most anticipated events of the year: Uranus leaves Aries and moves into Taurus.

Uranus was briefly in Taurus in 2018, and then retrograded back into Aries. But now he’s back in Taurus for good. Or at least for the next 7 years. When a slow-moving planet like Uranus changes signs, you know you’re up for a change.

Something in your life will change, because when Uranus comes, he always brings change.

Uranus is the planet of freedom, enlightenment, and liberation. When your sense of freedom is awakened, change usually follows. That’s why midlife crisis, for example, has been associated with the planet Uranus. Uranus always makes an opposition to natal Uranus when someone is 40-42 years old.

The midlife crisis basically means that your sense of freedom is awakened. You no longer what to live by society’s rules (Saturn). You want to live by your own rules and unleash your full creative potential.

Uranus in Taurus will move into a different sector of your life and will awaken your latent potential in that particular area of your life.

March is a very eventful month, and apart from Uranus moving into Taurus we also have other important events. On March 20th, 2019 we have the Equinox and the beginning of a new astrological year, Mercury goes retrograde on Mach 5th, 2019 and spends almost the whole month in a conjunction to Neptune in Pisces, and Sun is conjunct Chiron, asking you to come to terms with your primal wound.

But let’s have a look at the most important astrological events of the month:

March 1st, 2019 – Venus Enters Aquarius

On March 1st, 2019 Venus enters Aquarius. After she spent three weeks in the serious sign of Capricorn, making conjunctions with the toughest planets of the zodiac (Saturn, Pluto, and the South Node), Venus takes a deep breath of fresh air and moves into Aquarius.

In Aquarius, Venus rises above personal concerns and takes a more objective, realistic approach to life. Venus in Capricorn was a heavy transit. Venus in Aquarius will lift the burden of resentment from your heart.

March 5th, 2019 – Mercury Goes Retrograde

On March 5th, 2019 Mercury goes retrograde at 29 degrees Pisces, the last degrees of the zodiac. Just when Mercury was about to start a new journey (at 0° Aries), he has decided instead to stop and go back.

There is still some work that needs to be done. There are still adjustments that need to be made.

Maybe there is a chapter of your life you thought had closed, but Mercury retrograde will reopen it, for you take a closer look at it. You may not like this. But Mercury retrograde will help you see things from a different perspective.

Mercury will spend most of March in a conjunction to Neptune. Mercury and Neptune will deconstruct your present reality, to show you a different perspective.

You can have an epiphany, and finally, understand why something happened the way it happened. When you find this missing piece of the puzzle, everything will fall into place.

To benefit from Mercury’s immersion into Pisces, keep your mind open. Be aware of any misconceptions or prejudices you may have.

March 6th, 2019 – Uranus Enters Taurus

On March 6th, 2019 Uranus enters Taurus. Uranus changing signs always comes with big shifts. To find out how exactly Uranus in Taurus will influence you, look up in your natal chart and see in which house is affected by this transit.

If you’re an Aries Ascendant, Uranus moves into your 2nd house, if you’re a Taurus ascendant, Uranus moves in your first house, if you’re a Gemini ascendant, Uranus moves into your 12th house, if you’re a Cancer ascendant, Uranus moves into your 11th house, if you’re a Leo ascendant, Uranus moves into your 10th house, if you’re a Virgo ascendant, Uranus moves into your 9th house, if you’re a Libra ascendant, Uranus moves into your 8th house, if you’re a Scorpio ascendant, Uranus moves into your 7th house, if you’re a Sagittarius ascendant, Uranus moves into your 6th house, if you’re a Capricorn ascendant, Uranus moves into your 5th house, if you’re an Aquarius ascendant, Uranus moves into your 4th house, if you’re a Pisces ascendant, Uranus moves into your 3rd house.

Get familiarized with the basic meaning of the house to see where you can expect the wind of change in your life.

March 6th, 2019 – New Moon In Pisces

On March 6th, 2019 we have a New Moon at 15° Pisces. Every New Moon comes with a new beginning, but this particular New Moon even more so, because it is linked to Uranus’ move into Taurus. This particular new beginning will not bring any type of change… it will bring a fundamental change in your life.

The New Moon is conjunct Neptune, opening completely new possibilities for you. The New Moon in Pisces is also sextile Mars and Saturn.

Even if a New Moon conjunct Neptune is not the most energizing transit, thanks to the positive influence of Mars and Saturn, you will take focused action this time. Neptune is the uncharted territory of your soul. Are you ready to dive in?

March 15th, 2019 – Mercury Conjunct Sun

On March 15th, 2019 Mercury retrograde is conjunct the Sun at 24 degrees Pisces, which means a new Mercury cycle begins.

A Mercury cycle lasts for about 4 months, so if you plan to do something that will require 4 months to complete, this is a good time to initiate it.

Sun and Mercury are square Jupiter in Sagittarius. This time, you are confident and optimistic about the outcome. A positive mindset is proven to produce better outcomes and increase your chances of success.

March 20th, 2019 – Sun Enters Aries

On March 20th, 2019 Sun enters Aries. This is the beginning of a new astrological year, because the Sun starts a new journey around the zodiac. No matter where on the Earth you live, the day is equal to the night. March 20 will set the tone for the new astrological year.

This year, the equinox point is conjunct Chiron. This conjunction really stands out because it is very tight. Chiron is a symbol of holistic healing. This means that 2019 will be the year of holistic healing.

No matter what needs healing in your life, in the coming year you have the chance to finally restore your balance and become whole again. Chiron is also a symbol for teachers, so you can expect to find a teacher that will stir your life in the right direction.

March 21st, 2019 – Full Moon In Libra

On March 21th, 2019 we have a Full Moon in Libra. March transits are dynamite! If the New Moon brought us Uranus in Taurus, the Full Moon in Libra is connected to the beginning of the astrological year.

You may know by now that a Full Moon alone is powerful enough – it basically represents the energetic peak of the month.

But this Full Moon is at 0° Libra, one of the four cardinal degrees, one of the most potent degrees of the zodiac. If you start something when the Sun or the Moon is at one of these four cardinal degrees, then anything is possible.

Cardinal signs = action. 0° is the degree of all possibilities.

The Full Moon is opposite Chiron, now at 1° Aries. If you want healthy relationships (Libra), you need to heal yourself first (Sun conjunct Chiron). Instead of trying to find the right partner, work on becoming the right person. Find out who you really are and heal your sense of identity.

March 22nd, 2019 – Sun Conjunct Chiron

On March 22, 2019,  Sun is conjunct Chiron at 1° Aries. From all Chiron transits, Chiron conjunct the Sun is perhaps the most significant one. Chiron has a special relationship with the Sun.

In the Greek myth, Chiron was adopted by Apollo (the Greek name for the Sun) who taught him everything he knew. Chiron was initially rejected by his parents, but it was the Sun who saved him.

The Sun represents the Self, our divine mission. Chiron represents our primal wound, the wound of being born, the wound of existence.

It is only by fully embracing ourselves, and our true purpose in life, that we can transcend the wound of existence and become whole. Once you have accepted yourself, once you walk on the path of your destiny, wholeness is restored, and healing is instantaneous.

March 24th, 2019 – Mercury Conjunct Neptune

On March 24th, 2019 Mercury is conjunct Neptune at 16 degrees Pisces. Neptune is the planet of mysteries, fogginess and illusion, and Mercury is retrograde. Most people would say “expect confusions, lies, and pretty much don’t do anything in March when Mercury is retrograde”.

Bur Neptune doesn’t only stand for illusions. Neptune is also the planet that opens us to the infinite possibilities of our existence.

If you are ready to see things you have never seen before, if you are ready to accept theories that may contradict your deepest truths, then Mercury retrograde conjunct Neptune can open your mind in ways you’ve never experienced before.

March 26th, 2019 – Venus In Pisces

On March 26th, 2019 Venus enters Pisces. Venus is exalted in Pisces, which means she is able to express herself at her best. With Venus in Pisces, beauty becomes art, love becomes compassion and universal values transcend personal concerns.

No matter what’s going on in your life, Venus in Pisces will open your heart to the infinite beauty that is all around us.

In Pisces, Venus likes to dream, and the border between dreams, imagination and reality may very well shift just as the boundary between the ocean and the shoreline, inviting you to surrender and enjoy what it is.

March 28th, 2019 – Mercury Goes Direct

On March 28th, 2019 Mercury goes direct. After Mercury has spent 3 weeks submerged in the ocean, he finally returns to the shore. He has experienced a completely different world.

Was it a dream? Was it real?

Either or, he has been enriched by the experience. He now knows something he didn’t know before. Reflect on the past 3 weeks. What messages did you receive? Did you have any particular dreams? How can you integrate these insights into your everyday life?

March 31st, 2019 – Mars In Gemini

On March 31st, 2019 Mars enters Gemini. Mars is a fire sign and Gemini is an air sign. In Gemini, Mars becomes even more curious, even more adventurous, although he may lack passion or focus.

In the coming 6 weeks, you can become more argumentative, but also more persuasive. Mars is the planet of winning and Gemini is the sign of the mind.

The best way to make use of this energy is to win on the intellectual front. In the coming 6 weeks, tackle those things you tend to procrastinate, take that exam, have that difficult conversation.

The New Moon on February 4th falls in the sign of Aquarius and holds beautiful, abundant, glittering energy for us all.

This New Moon is the perfect time to plant seeds and set intentions, as whatever you put action and attention to will surely blossom into the biggest, brightest flower under this energy.

When we do this, when we align in this way, we become One with ourselves and the Universe, and what we want is delivered to us with more speed and more grace.

It is possible to manifest an abundance of beautiful moments here on this earthly dimension, but it all begins with our mindset. It all begins with how well we listen to our soul and rise up in order to express that soul energy forward in our lives.

Under this New Moon energy, we have to stand tall in who we are. We have to give, we have to live, we have to allow all that we are to radiate out. We have to welcome in this energy into every corner of our lives, and then begin taking action to ensure that it sticks.

Intuitive Astrology: Super Blood Moon Eclipse January 2019 – Forever Conscious

On January 20-21st we have a Super Blood Moon Eclipse in the sign of Leo. This Eclipse is ultra potent as it’s both a Super Moon and a Blood Moon.

We will not have another Super Blood Moon Eclipse until 2021, so you can rest assured that this Leo Eclipse is definitely going to leave a lasting impression on all of us.

A Super Moon occurs when the Moon is closest to Earth. This means that we will see it shining big and bright in the sky. It also means the energetic effects of the Moon will be stronger than usual.

A Blood Moon occurs when we have a Total Lunar Eclipse. The totality of the Eclipse gives the Moon a reddish hue, hence the name Blood Moon. A Total Lunar Eclipse is the most potent kind we can have and signals a profound rebirth and culmination of energy.

On top of all of this, the fact that this Lunar Eclipse falls in Leo also adds to the significance.

For the last 18 months or so, we have been working with the Eclipse energies of Leo and Aquarius. This Eclipse cycle began back in February 2017, but now this January 2019 Leo Eclipse is the last in the cycle.

Seeing as this is the last Eclipse in the cycle, it is going to bring endings and a culmination to the lessons we have been working with since early 2017.
This is huge energy we are wrapping up, and it’s likely we will all feel a sense of resolution and completion.

As you can see, this Leo Eclipse is extremely potent and is going to be activating and transforming us on the deepest layers of our soul.

Overall, this Eclipse represents a time where we can birth ourselves, our past, our creations, our wounds, and our self-expression out into the world. This “birthing” process is one we may feel either on a creative level or on a level that allows us to release and let go.

This Eclipse also has some volatile, erratic energy to it, so we may feel a little scattered, drained or off balance. We may also find ourselves being pulled to release wounds of the past and to let go of things we thought we had dealt with.

To help you understand what flavor this Eclipse may have for you, think about what was happening in your life around February 2017. It is likely issues or themes from this time may play a part in what comes up for you.

It is not necessarily that the same events will repeat themselves, but you may find you are continuing your growth and development in regards to whatever was brewing around this time.

You may also gain closure in regards to these events, and feel proud of yourself for how far you have come. In fact, this Eclipse is like a graduation of sorts, so no matter what brews for you, be sure to honor just how far you have come and to celebrate the journey you have traveled.

Life is by no means easy, so we must remember to celebrate our victories both big and small. If we look at our lives through the eyes of love, we will always find so much to be grateful for and so much to rejoice in.

No matter what this Eclipse brings up for you, here you stand, trying to understand more, open your heart more, and learn more. As you read these words allow them to heal you, allow them to open you, and really honor the fact that you are taking the time to understand the cosmos and how it can aid your growth.

Accessing angelic realms and higher states of consciousness is also going to be easier under the effects of this Eclipse, so be sure to tune into your own guidance system and listen to the voice of your intuition.

While this Eclipse will touch us all differently, but we may also notice themes arising in areas surrounding our family life, creativity, and leadership.

We may also see these themes playing out on the world stage as well. In fact, in ancient astrology, a Leo Blood Moon Eclipse was a bad omen for the King and was seen as a prophecy that his time of reign was coming to an end.

It is very likely that under this Eclipse we may see changes to leadership in governments and in big organizations.

Due to the volatile energy around this Eclipse, it is going to be wise to think before speaking and to avoid getting swept up in the heat of the moment, especially when it comes to relationship matters.

Egos may be quick to rise under the energy of this Leo Eclipse, so do your best to stay mindful and to avoid arguments or conversations where you need to prove yourself or why you are right and the other person is wrong.

These types of discussions or arguments are never ones worth winning, as everyone has their own point of view, their own pains, and their own lens in which they view the world.

Tuning into your creativity is a great way to help negate some of this Eclipse energy, so if you find yourself feeling heated or wound up by something, make the time to do something that gets your creative juices flowing.

Eclipses always bring fated events into our lives, so in a sense, we can sit back and allow ourselves to be guided. We don’t have to worry about what actions to take on an Eclipse, because often the actions we need to take arise spontaneously and naturally.

Part of the reason Eclipses are so potent is that they put us where we need to be and unlock paths of our soul contract that we have been fated to walk down.

On this Blood Moon Eclipse, the energy is so strong and potent that we are going to find ourselves led in the right direction with minimal effort. Of course, the journey may not be easy, and we may feel resistance and fear, but keep trusting and know that the heavens have a plan for you.

Eclipses can be challenging, but very often they lead us to our highest destiny and help us to grow in leaps and bounds. Trust what unfolds for you on this January Super Blood Moon Eclipse. Stay open to the energies and pay attention to where you feel called to go.

From Astrology to Advaita Vedanta | Osho News

Flying with the stars and disappearing into realization – Sitara spoke with us about the new direction her life has taken.

Please tell us about your life!

I grew up in Hamburg, Northern Germany; I lived there for 25 years and started university life by studying German language. The idea was to become a teacher but I soon dropped that to go to Poona and take Sannyas. In the Sannyas context I was involved with using language for editing and translation at the German Osho Times.

My heart wasn’t really into becoming a school teacher even though I love teaching and also always wanted to work with people. My actual desire had been to study psychology but my grade point average in the final exams did not allow for that. Being able at a later time to work with people as a therapist in the Osho commune fulfilled what I anyway had wanted to do.

How did you come to Osho?

I have always been a seeker, at first within the Christian context. Once I started University, I came across those red-robed, bright-eyed people who talked about their Indian Guru and his revolutionary messages. I still remember the moment when I fell in love with Osho; in a book I saw his photo and, looking into these most beautiful eyes, I drowned in love. I was 24 and immediately booked my flight to India. One or two months later I travelled to Poona for the first time.

When did you fall in love with astrology and what kept you in its grip for so many years?

I must have been 12 years old when astrology entered my life and I never learned it at a school or in a course. It just grew with me.

Astrology is one of the many tools to help one to understand the human psyche and help people to grow. As to why this has been the tool that happened to me, I do not know. Sometimes I was more actively using it, sometimes it remained in the background. There were times when I actually wanted to give it up because actually, as opposed to some clients, I never considered it to be infallible. Yet for some reason or other it continued to remain part of my life.

How was life for you in Osho’s communes?

I lived in a small commune in Germany at first and later joined one of the large ones in Cologne, Wioska. This was during the beginning of the same year when Sheela left the Ranch (1985) and all kinds of ugly facts started to come to the open. As I had had quite mixed feelings about the workings in the Commune and at the Ranch I was not too shook-up, and nothing could stop me from trusting Osho himself anyway. The Cologne commune dissolved in its old form in the beginning of 1986 but continued in another very beautiful form with lots of little businesses created by sannyasins. Many lived communally in small and large flats scattered nearby and I am still living in this area today. I enjoyed that time a lot.

You travelled widely from the end of the eighties through to the nineties – please speak a little about where you went.

To start with, I did not have a base anywhere, just a few things stored in trunks in Poona or in basements of friends in Germany. As many did at that time, I “commuted” between Germany, making money, and using it up, staying in Poona. Later, there was a period of 3 ½ years when my then boyfriend and I tried out life on a farm in Southern France. Besides the farm work we meditated a lot. From time to time sannyasins came to stay with us and help with the farm work, and we received the name “Osho Dhanya Meditation Center”. I still cherish that experience, living in and off nature – something I had never done before. After that, the traveling continued, this time together with my boyfriend. Again, we did not have a base, just some trunks in Poona and some basics and a car in Australia. “Commuting” was now mainly between Australia and India. Again, a fulfilling time for which I am still very thankful.

When I eventually returned to Germany in 1998, I did not have many options how to make my living. It just so happened that immediately after my return to Cologne, the German Osho Times asked me to write the horoscope for them. This set the compass in the direction of Astrology and I started to offer sessions again.

In which way did Osho’s vision influence your way of doing astrology charts and transit readings?

Being a sannyasin, everything I did was influenced by Osho’s vision. That means meditating, listening to Osho’s discourses, writing and translating for the German Osho Times, giving therapy sessions, tarot readings, heart readings, past life hypnosis or astrology sessions - everything came into play in my astrological work at some point.

All those years with Osho helped me to become quite a mature person. And a mature person makes for a better astrologer than someone who continuously plays out their own agenda, projecting their own issues on the client.

You have decided to no longer compose the monthly horoscope for the German OT and for us. This appears like a big change in your life by wanting to put your energy totally into Advaita Vedanta, which you have been studying for many years.

Yes, it definitely is a big step. I wrote the monthly and annual horoscopes for the German Osho Times for the last two decades and enjoyed that. But over the last ten years my focus shifted more and more towards traditional Advaita Vedanta. In the past I have always worked with people, helping them to evolve on the personality level. In the last ten years this has been changing. I still give an occasional Astrology session but mainly I work with people now to help them become enlightened – and I do so with Advaita Vedanta, following its time-tested ingenious methodology.

What is the most important thing you have learned being with Osho?

Freedom is the key word for me – not in the sense of moksha; I was not ready for that in those years with Osho. He invited me to be a free person, to not look around all the time what others want me to do or not to do but to decide for myself and stand up for my decisions. A key experience happened in the beginning of 1980 after I had taken sannyas and returned from Poona. It came to me in the form of one of those dreams that one never forgets because they contain a very important message.

In Hamburg, where I still lived at the time, public transport is provided by the S-Bahn (rapid mass transit railway network). One of their stops is called ‘Sternschanze’. My new sannyas name being Sitara (meaning star), my unconscious translated Sternschanze into ‘chance for the star’; in German, ‘Chance für den Stern’.

In that dream I was passing by this stop, when Osho came and took my mala off my neck, and turned the locket with his photo around. In reality there is also the same photo on the back, but in the dream the back was solid wood. He then took out a woodburning pen, burned something into the wood and returned the mala to me.

I looked at it and read ‘You are the master’. Even though I immediately understood his message as “Let yourself be free!”, it took me 21 years or even longer to fully live it. Even though it was easy for me to be uncompromisingly myself in regard to society, family etc.; within the sannyas context, I again and again compromised myself for fear of not being accepted. Those compromises became less and less severe and less and less in number, but they still lingered and bugged me. I did not like that I was not myself.

What helped over the years was a method called Instinctive Learning, which I still cherish immensely; I use it to help my own disciples to step out of persistent old habits that interfere with their spiritual advancement.

Standing up for myself as someone not only studying but, meanwhile teaching Advaita Vedanta, was the last step in liberating myself within the sannyas context. Osho was my first master who I deeply loved and I am immensely thankful for all those wonderful years. He did the preparatory work but it was not Osho who set me free.

In 2001 I went to Poona for the last time – not to visit the commune but to take part in Dolano’s Intensive Satsang – which was the first step to true freedom, moksha. This is the freedom which does not only involve the personality but takes you beyond the personality. With this, my whole perspective changed, even though on the outside many things remained the same at first.

Dolano did not become my new guru but she certainly has been the turning point in my spiritual life. After that, any remaining interest in personal growth dissolved and I was only interested in one thing: to complete the realization that began through that process.

I was not on the lookout for another guru but I did look around for inspiration. Gangaji provided valuable input for a while and made the realization more complete but the last completion came through Advaita Vedanta.

Would you like to elaborate a bit on Advaita Vedanta in the near future for our readers?

Thank you, I’d love to do that.

Sitara’s monthly horoscope has been inspiring our readers for over eight years.

7 Sins of Dating – Lust | Astrology {Unboxed} – Creative Astrology for a Life Outside the Box

©July 2011 by Fabienne Lopez

We are getting close to the end of the 7 sins. Today, we examine, Lust. Make sure to check out Pride, Envy, Sloth and Wrath.

The Merriam-Webster dictionary denotes Lust as an intense sexual desire or appetite.

From the definition above, one would consider this sin innocuous in the dating scene.  What is wrong with being sexually active while looking for Love?

Indulging in one-night stands and/or having a “friend with benefits” without the emotional component renders the task of recognizing when someone is right for you more difficult. Lust and Love are often mistaken one for the other at the beginning of a relationship. Intimacy becomes a challenge, sharing feelings an obstacle.

. Lust and Love are often mistaken one for the other at the beginning of a relationship. Intimacy becomes a challenge, sharing feelings an obstacleThe Downside of Lust

In dating, this transgression has two principal consequences:

1)  We deny our more fragile side, never allowing ourselves to expose failures, errors, and struggles and;

2)  Avoid emotional growth and intimacy.

Lust focuses on the “here and now” and the overwhelm need for immediate satisfaction. You do not show much interest in the person as a whole and do not care how their day went, what their favorite song, movie or food is. You would rather devote energy to having a good time.

Relationships, on the other hand, demand dedication, and effort to develop and produce results. They require long-term goals, commitment, nurturing to grow. It is a labor of love.

Lust and dating are not at opposite sides of the spectrum, however. They are more like “kissing cousins.”

Both are necessary to develop your relationship. At the same time, you need to build love/commitment to keep the two of you on the path when road bumps hit the relation.

Lust, Intimacy and Venus

Astrology has long recognized the intricate connection between lustfulness, passion, and love, all expressions of Venus. By looking at the sign, house position, and aspects of this planet in your chart, you understand how to develop genuine intimacy with others.

When physically attracted to someone, it is natural to believe as though you are already beginning to fall in love. The passion flowing between the partners does not mean, however, they are suited for each other. Attraction and compatibility are two separate items in a relationship. Physical intimacy without the accompanying emotional bonding endangers the chances for a future commitment.

Lust diminishes our capacity to recognize our and others openness for love and attachment. On the other hand, Venus can help us discover our most important values, the ones that bring Mr. Right closer to us.

Thanks for visiting. Tell me what you are thinking…

ZAYN MALIK New Girlfriend: Gigi Hadid, Perrie Edwards and Love Astrology Predictions!

zayn malikZayn Malik is spreading some interesting Christmas cheer this holiday season. It’s safe to say he’s happy he’s left One Direction and in fact, stated in a recent interview that the band’s sound was “as generic as f**k”. The comment prompted Simon Cowell to scold Zayn and call him rude. Well, I guess he will be at the top of Santa’s naughty list this Christmas.

Born under the zodiac sign of Capricorn, Zayn Malik will celebrate his 23rd birthday in a few weeks on January 12th. What are Jacy Nova’s astrology psychic predictions for Zayn Malik and his new girlfriend, Gigi Hadid, in 2016?

Astrologically speaking, Capricorn men in love can be quite aloof. Leaving you breathless and uncertain on whether or not his love his true. No doubt, Zayn Malik likes to keep his current girlfriend on her toes, so she’s always asking, does he love me or does he love me not?

Zayn Malik’s has had quite the rollercoaster ride in 2015. He ended his engagement to Perrie Edwards by text and promptly left the band. What astrologically pushed our naughty Capricorn boy over the edge?

First, Uranus in Aries has squared Zayn Malik’s Sun in Capricorn for several months. Pushing him to make impulsive decisions and changes. He wants to take charge of his life and break free.

Currently, Zayn’s rumored to have a new girlfriend and is dating Gigi Hadid. Are they a soulmate match or is Gigi his rebound girl? His Moon in Virgo keeps Zayn emotionally grounded in love, but his Venus in Pisces makes him romantic and sweet. Malik definitely likes to have a lady by his side and Gigi Hadid is a gorgeous girl.

Gigi Hadid is born under the lusty zodiac sign of Taurus. She can be very loyal girlfriend but incredibly demanding at the same time. Her Moon in Aquarius makes her more aloof in relationships, most likely; Zayn Malik would have to work for her love. Add Venus in Leo, Gigi is all about the drama, baby. Romantically speaking, we think Zayn and Gigi are a fling and not a long-term relationship.

Jacy Nova’s astrology-psychic prediction for Zayn Malik is 2016  is that it will be an emotionally tough year for him. He will feel frustrated and disconnected, and we would recommend him to take a spiritual journey to find his true path in life. When it comes to love, Zayn’s too young to get married right now, and he was smart to break off his engagement to Perrie Edwards. The way he did it was rude, but it was necessary to let go. Overall, we can expect Malik to get engaged again in 2018 that should lead to a happier love connection. Wishing him the best in 2016.

Mercury Retrograde March 2019 ~ by Darkstar Astrology

We have a Mercury retrograde from March 6 to 29 2019 in Pisces. Scroll down for the analysis for the coming retrograde. Generally though, the traditional advice with Mercury retrograde is “Don’t travel, Don’t sign contracts. Don’t marry. Don’t touch electrics!” However, the whole Mercury retrograde cycle actually lasts eight weeks and happens three times, sometimes even four times in a year! That’s a long time to hide under the duvet and a real waste of a truly magical time. Mercury generally zips between two worlds, or rather, the two hemispheres of our brain.

During the Mercury retrograde period, it feels like Mercury has gone down into the underworld. In this realm, closer to spirit, we become more right-brain orientated. It is dark, so other senses are heightened. We will feel extra sensitive here, psychic even. Everything will seem hyper-real… you will notice things you had overlooked before. This will prompt you to re-evaluate, renovate, re-form, and re-invent. It’s true you might have to redo things because Mercury will hit the same degree three times, but this transit won’t let you go into autopilot. There are danger spots though.

Mercury Retrograde March 2019When Mercury retrograde is stationing (Changing directions) we are at a wobbly stage where we are likely to slip-up, make mistakes, and misread another’s communications. Once we are over the threshold and into the Underworld, we can safely go about our business, knowing that we are in another realm. The same goes for when Mercury is stationing direct, just make sure you give your brain a few days to adjust back to solar thinking.

The house in your natal chart that the Mercury retrograde falls in will be your Underworld zone. There you will question everything. It will make you jittery about signing contracts because you will be constantly thinking, “Is this what I really want?”. Before the retrograde is a good time to finish off those Solar left-brain projects and gather information to bring down with you into your retrograde cave. Then you can slow things down, let yourself be taken into other dimensions, try on different filters, experiment, shine a light on your demons, then recharge and reboot.

Mercury Retrograde March 2019

The Mercury Retrograde from March 6 is quite a deceptive one since it will be conjunct Neptune twice on its journey plus it is also in Pisces where it is not comfortable. Here it is slippy and accidents could happen. Another problem is the conjunction with Scheat which is associated with accidents especially in the skies, so air travel is not advised on the days when it is conjunct Scheat (From March 3 to 8 while Mercury is slowing down and changing direction). Mercury does better on the fixed star Achernar and Ankaa (March 24 to April 1) where it is great for the study and communication of metaphysical and spiritual matters. During its voyage Mercury will also square the teacher and preacher Jupiter while he aligns with Ras Alhague at 22º Sagittarius. Mercury also can rise from the underworld at this time too with Ankaa in the phoenix.

Mercury Retrograde in Pisces Decan 3 ~ March 6 to 19

Mercury Retrograde Key Dates

February 19 Mercury enters the shadow zone at 16º Pisces
March 6 Mercury station retrograde at 29º Pisces 1.20pm EST
March 3 to 8 Mercury conjunct fixed star Scheat at 29º Pisces
March 14 Sun conjunct Mercury Retrograde at 24º Pisces
March 15 Sun/Mercury Retrograde square Jupiter at 23º Pisces/Sagittarius

Mercury Retrograde March 2019On March 7 Mercury on Scheat 29º “Many accidents and narrow escapes especially by water, many enemies, trouble through writings, bad for health and domestic affairs.” [1] “The innovator, gifted with ideas, words or rhythm; far-sighted. To be able to think outside the square. To actively seek the ‘truth’ [2]. Controversial writers and those with visionary ideas come to the fore at this time. They may even be quite ridiculed in the ‘progressive’ period we are living in. Artistic and musical people fair better because their far-out opinions become great fantasy when put on paper or canvas. At this time we can put forward innovative ideas and schemes which later become commonplace in everyday life.

A theory or art form that may well have been vilified in past times is now praised as being ‘ground-breaking’. Ideas here are really on the cutting edge of change since we are so close to the equinoctial point. Since Mars is the sole ruler of this decan, words are apt to be the cause of pain also. Mercury retrograde in this decan can lash out spitefully with its tongue without thinking, there can be a biting, sarcastic wit and much damage can come from libellous writing. Gossip reigns supreme here also. We could see raw tabloid headlines that rip a notable person to shreds. We may see libellous lawsuits and poison pen letters. Mercury at this time can make incredibly effective propaganda too because it can generate such an emotive and persuasive story.

Halfway through the whole Mercury retrograde 2019 journey we have Sun cazimi Mercury. Here opens a window of wonderfulness where we can stand in the eye of the hurricane but miraculously come out in one piece. Make use of the special Sun exact conjunct Mercury moment (Cazimi in traditional astrology). Send a romantic message that really hits the mark or pitch an artistic idea. Try as close to these times as you can. Cazimi at March 14 6.43pm PDT, 9.43pm EDT, March 15 1.43am GMT. (Cazimi lasts about 2.5 hours either side of the hour.)

Mercury Retrograde Cazimi Moment

Mercury Retrograde in Pisces Decan 2 ~ March 20 to 29

Mercury Retrograde Key Dates

March 24 Mercury Retrograde conjunct Neptune at 16º Pisces
March 28 Mercury conjunct fixed star Achernar at 15º Pisces
March 29 Mercury station direct at 16º Pisces. 8.59am EST
April 2 Mercury conjunct Neptune at 17º Pisces
April 16 Mercury leaves the shadow zone at 29º Pisces

Mercury is traditionally debilitated in this decan but it can be very spiritual especially since Neptune will be activated also. This Mercury retrograde will speak in symbols and myth, and also the language of music. The connection between mouth and intuition is as fast as quicksilver though, so it might seem at times that we are simply downloading information from the collective consciousness. Vocal style and delivery are most unusual, sometimes pretty surreal, it can be hard to grasp what people really mean, which sometimes makes them appear shifty. Mundane matters are better dealt with online than awkward face-to-face speaking. Mercury in this decan can get quite evangelical about subjects that it feels passionate. Those with a fiery disposition might have to rein themselves back from barking out sermons like a demented preacher. At the tail end of the Mercury retrograde on March 28 Mercury on Achernar gives ~ ” A worrier, with a caustic, dry wit. A person comfortable with and competing in forums and debate.” [3] and also on Ankaa gives ~ ” An inventor, engineer, or one who brings order and structure. Being able to break something down into its smallest parts, even to destroying the original, to suddenly emerge with the solution of insight.” [4]

The Meaning of Retrograde Planets

Retrograde planets are a popular topic in astrology and there is some controversy about the general meaning. For example, Vedic astrologers see retrograde motion as a beneficial influence, while Western astrologers focus on the negatives, such as lost baggage or missing mail when Mercury is retrograde. I prefer to interpret each retrograde phase based on the aspects and fixed stars from the beginning to the end of the retrograde cycle (the shadow zone).’Retrograde’ literally means opposite or reverse, so a planet in retrograde motion appears to be moving in reverse.

Mercury Retrograde 2019Planets do not, of course, move backward, and the apparent reverse motion is due to the elliptical orbits of the earth and planets. Regardless of the astronomy, the main point is that from where we stand, planets DO appear to move backward from time to time so we should expect this to have some astrological effect on our lives. Generally, we feel the energy of retrograde planets in a more introspective or reserved manner than usual, and there may be a karmic theme or feeling of deja vu depending on the nature of the planet.

The feeling of deja vu may also be because the retrograde planet will go over a certain degree three times over. People who experience this feeling strongest will be those who have a key planet or angle at this spot. For example; Ones IC is hit three times and you are looking to move home. Hit 1 you may see the house you want to buy. Hit 2 (Retrograde) may be when you have to go through surveys and making sure everything is fine to buy it, this will mean re-evaluating finances, whatever you have to do you are always double checking. Hit 3 maybe when you finally get the go-ahead to move and the issue is resolved. Retrogrades give us the chance to really get our teeth onto a matter because we are forced to go over old ground again and again. This may get frustrating and tedious, but ultimately it is very useful, for tackling something karmic we may have been avoiding and that we have to address once and for all.

Tips for this month’s FULL MOON

FULL MOON REMINDER…  Friday, November 23rd, 12:39 am – EST, is the FULL MOON exact day and time in NOVEMBER!  Don’t miss this chance to view your life objectively. During the three days around the Full Moon, you can see where you need to make changes in an important relationship. Once aware of your interaction, how can you best adjust your approach so that you can more successfully reach your life goals? It’s time for reevaluation.

There is an opportunity for insight and progress inherent in the FULL MOON. People often react emotionally during the days of the Full Moon due to a feeling of helplessness. They become aware of the distance between the way they want their life to be, and the way it currently is.  Often, when they see this gap, they become upset.

The reflection from your environment shows you your current reality–and this may be in stark contrast to the way you would like things to be. A feeling of powerlessness can come from the awareness of the discrepancy between the way you would like things to be, and the way they actually are. The empowerment is that, once aware, you have the chance to change things successfully.

Because this FULL MOON occurs in the sign of GEMINI, the emotional energy stirred in the atmosphere is mentally overactive. You could begin to second-guess yourself when you become aware of how current circumstances may not be supporting the larger goals in your life.

You will be very aware of the limitations that bind you through your own moral and ethical concerns, restraining you from exploring your options. You may be questioning how to balance your desire to be “right” versus gaining the information you need to progress toward your goals. Those you are interacting with may perceive situations in a way that leads them to think you don’t care about them, resulting in over-emotional drama. As is often the case with the days of the Full Moon, people get upset.

This is a powerful time (11/22 – 11/25) for reevaluating the new beginnings you made during the last New Moon. Re-read your wish list and notice the ways in which you are now either closer to–or further away from–the dreams in your heart that you would like to manifest in your life.

Given that this FULL MOON is in the sign of GEMINI, you are likely to be more aware than usual of your needs for socializing, and satisfying your desire for both physical and mental activity. What adjustments can you make in handling important relationships so that others become more supportive of your need for personal growth?

The Full Moon in GEMINI opposes the Sun in SAGITTARIUS, and what will likely trigger people’s upset is the feeling that they are not being heard. Should an upset occur, slow things down and either ask the other person to repeat what they have said–or let them know what you heard. The feeling of being listened to will settle their mood.

Times during this Full Moon when the emotional intensity will be at its strongest::

Thursday, 11/22 – all day and night; especially volatile 4:58am – 11:10pm
Friday, 11/23 – all day and night
Saturday, 11/24 – all day and night
Sunday, 11/25 – the energy starts to calm

These times are in Eastern Standard Time (EST). The Moon Box on the Homepage of this site (upper right corner) will tell you how many hours difference your location is from the Eastern Time Zone in the US.
