Astral Projection And Mom’s Message

Astral Projection And Mom’s Message

First, a big thank you to Miracles for the help and encouragement regarding sharing this experience. This isn’t a typical ghost story, but I hope you’ll find it interesting regardless…

A little background; I started astral projecting almost 5 years ago. The first time it happened was completely spontaneous (as were the following 2-3 times after this). Definitely mind blowing stuff. I remember the first time it happened, I thought “Oh my God, it’s real! This is amazing!”. I don’t know why, but I knew exactly what was happening while it happened. I had no fear. I had previously thought that out of body/astral projection experiences were not real and bogus stories. Boy, was I (thankfully) wrong. Since then, I’ve gotten a tiny bit better at control and initiation. However, I am not an expert by any means and wish I could initiate it more frequently. Many of my experiences have been short and sometimes hazy (difficulty with vision). However, I have had some beautiful, very clear and personal experiences that have further cemented my belief in the existence of life after death.

This experience took place 2 years ago, in 2016. I intentionally went out of body and immediately entered what I would describe as some type of warehouse. I walked down a hall to investigate, turned a corner and saw my mother standing there. My mother passed away almost 17 years ago (in November). I’ve encountered her a few times while “out” and our interactions are usually brief with lots of hugs and her reassurances that she is with me and loves me (I am very lucky).

This time, I immediately asked her if the voice I had heard (it sounded like grumbling) while exiting my body was George (George is what we nicknamed the spirit/ghost in the house I grew up in. I have mentioned him in previous stories on this site). I don’t know why I asked that. After I had asked if it was George, she made this “Mmmmmmm” sound as if she debated on telling me. I asked again and she said “Listen, pay attention. You need to remember 50 10”. I asked what that meant. She replied, “Just remember, 50 10. Pay attention. Something will happen next week and you will know what it means”. That was it. I was back in my body, awake, trying to figure out what that meant. It nagged at me, so I called my father and explained everything. He does believe me as far as my AP experiences, but has a hard time understanding it. I don’t blame him.:)

He wondered if maybe, it had to do with the date of May 10th (50= May, 5th month, after taking away the 0 and 10 as in the 10th day). I do understand the confusion as far as 50 equaling May, but can’t explain why it was related this way. This took place on May 5th or 6th. I thought, maybe, but it seemed too easy, right? So after brainstorming on it for awhile, I figured when the time came, I would know what 50 10 meant.

Fast forward a few days later. My cousin, who I’m very close to (we are 4 months apart) called uncontrollably crying, trying to speak. Finally, I understand her. She was saying “He’s gone! He’s gone! My brother is gone, he’s dead!” For privacy reasons, I will call him Ray. Obviously I was shocked; her brother was 31 years old, his death was sudden and a total surprise. I jumped in the car to go to her house and be with her. While driving, it hit me: The date was May 10th. I called my father to deliver the sad news and to start rallying the family together. Then I said “Dad, it’s May 10th”. He said “Oh my God. It is! It was true!” To this day, I’m still flabbergasted over this. It’s hard to imagine my mother giving me a piece of information this serious. One more thing that happened just prior to her phone call; my left ear started ringing (very loud and high pitched). I remember I stopped what I was doing and felt uneasy. I don’t know if it’s connected, but thought it worth mentioning.

The only thing I could and can think of is that I was given a sort of “heads up” message regarding Ray’s death. I know it seems too crazy to be true. My reasoning is this: Our family was not meant to intervene, but to understand that family on the other side was expecting him and for some reason it was meant to be. That thought has comforted me since it happened and gave me the strength to help with the arrangements and support his siblings and father (Ray’s mother, my mother’s sister, also passed away, about 6 years ago).

I can tell you, this incident was very clear. No haziness, trouble seeing or hearing. Any input, thoughts or similar experiences are appreciated. Thank you so much!

Awakening Our TruthLucid Dreaming and Astral Projection ~ Awakening Our Truth

How can I have a Lucid dream or Astral projection?

This is probably the most frequently asked question I get. First off we should probably explain the definitions:

Lucid dreaming occurs when you are dreaming and are aware that you are in fact dreaming. Once you become lucid (aware) in your dream, you can control all of the dream characters, albeit with some practice. You can fly in a lucid dream, go out with Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie, go hang gliding, or even shape shift into a cat and see what that’s like. Knock yourself out (you can even do that!). You’re only limited by your imagination.

Astral projection, or out of body experiences, occur when your soul or consciousness leaves your body and enters a realm known as the astral plane. This is not the dream plane. This is an entirely different place, and it’s definitely not Kansas!

Let’s compare lucid dreaming and astral projection so that you’ll see how distinctly separate these two experiences are.

In lucid dreaming:
•You are asleep
•Your experience is a dream
•Your location is whereever you wish it to be (desert, ocean, future, past, mom’s house, etc.)
•Your consciousness is still inside your body
•You can control the environment and characters
•When the experience is over, you simply wake up

In astral projection:
•You awaken, then you project
•Your experience is real
•Your experience begins in your bedroom, or wherever your body is
•Your consciousness is outside of your body, and your body is left with none
•You can manipulate your environment in the astral realm (somewhat), but you cannot control the actions of the inhabitants of the astral plane.
•When the experience is over, you return to your body and merge your consciousness back into it

Do you have to know how to lucid dream in order to astral project?

No. You could potentially learn astral projection without ever learning lucid dreaming. There are some people who can simply lay down on a couch and in a couple of minutes totally separate out of their body. It’s difficult, but possible. The skill of being able to project your consciousness out of your body is something that can be practiced to a point where you could potentially leave your body while dining at a restaurant or sitting in a movie theater. However, I can definitely say that being an accomplished lucid dreamer will help you learn astral projection.

I recall one experience where I laid down on my bed to take an afternoon nap and immediately, instantly, went out of body. I literally thought I had died because it was the first time I astral projected from a totally awake, not-coming-out-of-sleep state. I stood there looking down at my body thinking, “Holy hell-in-a-handbasket, Batman! What just happened?” It was trippy and unnerving and I just got right back into my body. Fear of death will do that to you.

How can we use the skill of lucid dreaming to facilitate an astral experience?

Mastering the art of lucid dreaming comes with a great side effect. You learn how to wake your mind up while keepingyour body asleep. And that is a skill you need for conscious astral projection. In order to separate out your consciousness from its shell – your body – you need to learn how to move your consciousness out of your body andinto your astral vehicle, as it’s called. Your astral vehicle is simply your astral body. Think of it like putting your consciousness into a ghostly body. It’s not quite that simple, but it will do for now. So once you’ve become a master at keeping your body asleep while your mind is totally awake and conscious, you’re halfway there.

So how does astral projection take place?

The best and easiest way to learn how to astral project is to learn lucid dreaming first. Listen to my podcast for tips on how to do that. What you want to do is end your lucid dream with the intent to astral project. As you wake up, you’ll notice your body is totally paralyzed for a few moments. This is to prevent you from acting out your dream. In this state, you want to raise your vibration (you might hear a high-pitched whine or feel a buzzing in your body), and then stretch your astral body out of your physical body. It will feel like you’re moving your physical body. It’s supposed to!! This is because you are leaving your body – all of you is leaving your body – and so it will feel like you are simply stretching out and standing up. But when you look down, you’ll see your body still lying on the bed.

A lot of people make the mistake of thinking they simply cast their awareness outside of their body and experience a dual consciousness, or imagine they are getting up out of their body. No. When you successfully leave your body, it will feel like all of you is standing up while your body is still lying on your bed. You will not feel like you’re still lying in bed. You will not feel like you’re dreaming. You will literally feel like you got out of bed and are standing beside it. You will look down at your body and recognize it but you will not feel your arms lying on the covers, you will not feel your head on the pillow. You will only see it. You may feel a pull or tug, however. This is your astral cord trying to get you back into your body where you feel safe, because let me tell you, the first dozen times you go astral you will want to get back into your body right quick!! Get as far away from your body as fast as you can and the tugging sensation will dissipate rapidly. When you’re ready to go back to your body, just think about it and your cord will snap you back. If you get into any trouble out there, call for the angels or your spirit guides to help you. They’ll get you back where you belong.

Other tidbits you need to know

Sometimes I will be having a lucid dream followed by a false awakening where I will dream that I am astral projecting. That’s not an astral projection. Still a dream. If Brad Pitt shows up in your astral experience, you’re just dreaming. Sometimes I will actually begin to have an astral experience but not make it fully out of my body. So frustrating. If my will is not strong enough to get out of my body, I will often snap into a lucid dream very quickly. Not astral, but still a cool experience.

Sometimes people successfully go astral but don’t leave their body! What a waste of a great experience. In this case you vibrate your frequency high enough to get out but you don’t actually stretch out of your body and go anywhere. I’ve done this many, many times. You are in an astral state, you are plugged in to the astral realm, but you simply aren’t going anywhere. In this state, you may attract the attention of some entities who may not be very nice, who will come and look at you, or talk to you, or try to suck your energy away. I wouldn’t let them.

In still other cases, there are beings who can separate your astral body from your corporeal body for you. Some of them are nice, and others are not so nice. If you have friends who are good at astral projection, they can come and encourage you to leave your body. This is so very tricky and requires some precision timing, but it can be done if you’re all really serious about it.

Crystals and Minerals – Nirvana Quartz Stone of Astral Projection – Angel Lady Terrie Marie’s Blog

High in the Himalayan Mountains of India, Nirvana Quartz, also known as Ice Quartz, was first discovered in 2006 in elevations of 18,000 feet above Sea level. Melting Glaciers have revealed this incredible mineral gifting all of us with an opportunity to experience extraordinary shifts in our own energy frequencies. It is irregularly formed; no two mineral specimens are exactly the same in shape, color or energy frequency.

How can each mineral specimen have its own unique energy frequency? Much the same as each flower, bird, tree and human has its own unique energy signature so does each piece of Ice Quartz. Each specimen often displays jagged edges and crevices. The color range is nearly translucent white to soft shades of rosy pink.

What is Nirvana? It is, according to Hinduism beliefs, the liberation of the Soul from the effects of Karma and physical existence as we have come to understand it. Nirvana is also a sense or state of releasing all that is now behind you. It is the ability to mentally release your physical mind from the constraints of being solely housed or encased in physical form allowing your thoughts and your Spirit to soar among the stars in the Heavens above.

The Word Nirvana also implies a state of Enlightenment, a sense of connecting directly and more openly with Divine Source Energy. This magnificent stone is a conduit for deeper levels of esoteric illumination, transformation and transcendence. It also implies a sense of total serenity, happiness, a state of blissful harmony.

It resonates with the Crown, Third Eye, Throat and Heart Chakra energy centers, integrating one with the other. Use Ice Quartz during meditation to increase your sense of awareness, expanding your inner essence, expanding your Spirituality.

This crystalline form will assist you in discovering and realizing your Life’s Purpose. It will assist in quieting your mind, stopping or stilling mental chatter enabling you to receive guidance.

Astral Projection Step-by-Step

Astral projection is an out of body experience where an astral body is separated from the physical body. Astral projection is an interpretation of astral travel of an “astral body” that separates from the physical body and capable of travelling outside.

Astral body, Out of body experience or OOBE is the common name use for astral projection.

Though, this entire topic is vast and profoundly esoteric, though, in this article we will try to discuss certain procedures for a Successful astral projection.

There are steps that can be used in order for a Successful astral projection to begin.

The whole trick here is to go into self hypnotic sleep and trying to remember our dreams or in other terms astral projection is art of going into conscious sleep and accessing the unconscious.

It take practice  in the beginning, in couple of days you will be able to stay aware in your sleep.

To start with, go to bed in about your regular daily sleeping time.

Set your alarm clock after 4 or 5 hours to wake you up.

As you wake up, after few hours, get out of bed, wash your face and keep yourself busy for few minutes, make sure to be in positive mood, do not indulge in heavy morning workouts, just spend about fifteen minutes max and then go back to bed and lay down.

The idea here is to break the sleep pattern and get ready to go back into sleep. Since the pattern is broken, you will have much power over your subconscious mind with this technique.

Try to consciously go to sleep again, relaxed and watching your breath going in and coming out.

While laying down, practice Anapanasati Meditation for about ten minutes. This is the core and most important meditation before doing any psychic meditation.

Practice the meditation and just be there in that space, Pretend that you are sleeping, and say it to yourself, my legs are relaxed, my arms are relaxed, i am relaxed.

Just life  self hypnosis, give yourself instruction to go to your self, part by part, bring your attention to each part of your body and suggest them to relax, and slowly slowly you are going into sleep, being aware all the time that you are not the body and you are not the mind and just a watcher.

Keeping watching your breath going in and coming out ,  If self suggestion can help you, try suggesting yourself, i am tired and I am going to sleep.

If you do it right, your body will enter into relax state you should be in alpha stage state of sleep,

The categories of brainwaves in relation to human consciousness are:

• Beta 14-30Hz (Awakened state: normal, alert consciousness)
• Alpha 9-11Hz (Awakened state: relaxed, calm, social, not thinking)
• Theta 4-9Hz (Asleep, dream state: Deep relaxation and meditation, mental imagery)
• Delta 1-3Hz (Asleep: Deep, dreamless sleep)
1Hz = 1 beat per second; the human brain responds to frequencies between 1 tenth to 30 hertz.

During astral projection the brainwave frequencies fall between 1.5 and 4Hz.

Try going deeper in your sleep for a successful astral projection our goal here is to reach into theta stage, which are even slower in frequency and greater in amplitude than alpha waves, to know if your have reach theta stage is that you may experience sleep paralysis like situation. Dont be afraid here, Sleep paralysis is a very common condition characterized by transient partial or numbness of skeletal muscles and areflexia that occurs upon awakening from sleep or less often while falling asleep.

Take note that OOBE may most likely to occur if you enter the sleep paralysis state, but don’t cling for it, you may experience sleep paralysis you may not, it all depends of your physiology.

To identify if you are close to the separation of your astral body from your physical body, symptoms like hearing voices, buzzing noises, vibrations and rapid heartbeats can be observed.

Now that you have entered the sleep paralysis state, there are techniques that can be used to be familiarized with astral projection. The most common technique is called Yo-Yo. This technique is taken form “Treatise of Astral Projection” by Robert Bruce. The method to be used begins with picking a favorite place or spot in your bed room then stare and feel it. Lay down your bed and close your eyes.

Focus on the darkness as you close your eyes then think about what you saw earlier. Repeat the steps where you alternately focus on the darkness when you close your eyes create, then back at your favorite place what you stared and felt before.

Doing this can cause vibrations that will make your astral body separate from your physical body.

Second known technique is called Free fall. Free fall happens when you think that you are falling to the ground in a really fast way. In Theta state of sleep you should imagine that you are falling from a mountain or deep valley. Sensations like the astral projection symptoms and the speed of the fall should be recognized. If you are not certain about where you are or you cannot identify whether you are in space or not then probably you are close in doing astral projection.

Third technique for astral projection to happen is staring in the darkness. You can do this method by focusing in the darkness behind your closed eyes. Stare and focus in the darkness until light patterns start to form. When light patterns start to form shapes then you are probably entering the state of lucid dreaming which makes your astral body capable of traveling away from your physical self.

For the astral projection to successfully occur, always begin with the step-by-step procedures. Remember to relax as you try these methods. For the starters, try to practice astral projection with the guides provided above, Till I post the advance techniques.

Astral Projection for the Discriminating Dog – EsoterX

“The dog has seldom been successful in pulling man up to its level of sagacity, but man has frequently dragged the dog down to his” – James Thurber

John Charles Thompson was the distinguished Surveyor-General for the state of Wyoming, a popular and well-respected figure in his hometown of Cheyenne, regarded as “absolutely trustworthy” (Flammarion, 1921, p74).  Now part of being a surveyor is to get out there in the field and survey stuff, which frequently took him away from both his family, and his beloved collie (although some say spaniel), Jim.  And while General Thompson was a man of some stature in the community, Jim was a straight up celebrity in Cheyenne.

His affectionate nature surpassed even that of his kind. He had a wide celebrity in the city as the “laughing dog,” due to the fact that he manifested recognition of acquaintances and love for his friends by a joyful laugh, as distinctively such as that of any human being (Tuckett, 1911, p100-101).

I’ve always maintained that dogs are better than people – more loyal, consumed eternally with a positive attitude, and far less insufferably self-conscious than human beings.  Thus, it would be no surprise that a faithful hound wouldn’t think twice about astral projection in order to say a last goodbye to his best friend.  Dogs don’t care if you call them a New Age freakazoid.  They’re all about the relationships and getting stuff done, even if it means catching their own tail.  They know how to apply themselves to a goal.  And this is exactly what Jim, the good-natured Collie, decided to do in his final moments.  General Thompson himself related the strange circumstances.

One evening in the fall of 1905, about 7.30 P.M., I was walking with a friend on Seventeenth Street in Denver, Colorado. As we approached the entrance to the First National Bank, we observed a dog lying in the middle of the pavement, and on coming up to him I was amazed at his perfect likeness to Jim in Cheyenne. The identity was greatly fortified by his loving recognition of me, and the peculiar laugh of Jim’s accompanying it. I said to my friend that nothing but the 105 miles between Denver and Cheyenne would keep me from making oath to the dog being Jim, whose peculiarities I explained to him (Wilson, 1908, p38-39).

General Thompson was a practical guy, so he assumed that the mortally wounded hound could not possibly be his beloved Jim, but as a devout dog lover, he tried to ease the critters passage into the great dog park in the sky, there clearly being little else he could do.  It’s when the dog disappeared into thin air, that Thompson suspected the Fortean was afoot.

The dog, astral or ghost, was apparently badly hurt. He could not rise. After petting him and giving him a kind adieu, we crossed over Stout Street, and stopped to look at him again. He had vanished. The next morning’s mail brought a letter from my wife saying that Jim had been accidentally killed the evening before at 7:30 p.m. I shall always believe it was Jim’s ghost I saw (SPR, 1907, p225-226).

Dogs, as a rule, are not limited by concepts such as “impossibility”.  They just go about their business, dead or alive, and if that business involves projecting one’s astral dog form across time and space, well, a little gumption and a solid helping of kibble solves any problem.  Ever see a dog laying in the sun?  If that’s not deep meditation, I don’t know what is.  Maybe we should pay a little more attention to ghost dogs, for as Orhan Pamuk once said, “Dogs do speak, but only to those who know how to listen.”

Astral Projection and the Quest to Photograph the Soul

Astral Projection begins. From The Projection of the Astral Body, by Hereward Carrington and Sylvan Muldoon (1929).

Astral projection is the idea of being able to leave your physical body and journey into the world (physical and spiritual) with just your soul. Afterward, of course, you can dive back into your body and carry on with life.

But for a more specific description of the astral body, here’s what attorney, author and occultist, William Walker Atkinson had to say:

“The Astral Body, belonging to every person, is an exact counterpart of the perfect physical body of the person. It is composed of fine ethereal matter, and is usually encased in the physical body. In ordinary cases, the detachment of the astral body from its physical counterpart is accomplished only with great difficulty, but in the case of dreams, great mental stress, and under certain conditions of occult development, the astral body may become detached and sent on long journeys, travelling at a rate of speed only less than that of light-waves.”

In 1937, the International Institute for Psychical Research planned an experiment to capture astral projection on film. This required a few things: the right equipment for such a job, and someone who believed he could leave his physical body behind.

The group of investigators believed they had both.

For a volunteer, they invited author William Gerhardi, who had claimed to have out-of-body experiences. He once claimed to have traveled from London to Hastings, where he visited a friend’s home. Once he returned to his physical body he told his friend what he had seen. Gerhardi also said he had walked on ceilings and passed through solid walls during his travels.

Regarding the equipment, the researchers set up a “cloud chamber” with cameras, hoping it would capture the first photograph of a human soul.

“It is believed that if the test is successful photographs will show a shadowy, gossamer-like body, an exact duplicate of the human form, leaving the novelist,” a newspaper reported.

“Many difficulties lie in the way of such an experiment,” Gerhardi told reporters. “There is the risk that if I were placed in some kind of tank and succeeded in projecting myself, I might not be able to return to my physical body. That would mean death.”

Though no further articles reported on the experiment, Gerhardi lived until 1977. So if he participated in the experiment, he survived. It would also mean the experiment failed, since photos of souls still don’t exist.

Astral Projection, from The Projection of the Astral Body, by Hereward Carrington and Sylvan Muldoon (1929).

For those who think Gerhardi and other astral projectors might be confusing their powers with dreams, Hereward Carrington would vehemently disagree. Carrington, who claimed to have projected his astral body hundreds of times, said this in his book, The Projection of the Astral Body:

About the first hot-shot that the sceptic, or even delvers into the supernormal, will give the conscious projector, is that he (the projector) did not leave his physical body at all, and that what he supposed happened was but a dream which was indelibly registered in his memory. There is only one answer to this ridiculous supposition. If a person does not know when he is conscious, then indeed he should be submitted to a sanity test!”

The doubter will say: “Now, you could have been dreaming all this. In your dream you would not know you were not fully conscious.” This is reverse reasoning. In a dream a man may not know that he is unconscious; but when he is conscious he does know positively that he is not dreaming! Why? Simply because we have a distinct understanding of both present and past, when conscious. So do not form the idea that conscious astral projection is but a dream reminiscence.”

Of course, Carrington also believed in post-mortem telepathic hypnotism, which you can read about here.

20 Astral Projection Myths Busted! – Mystic Banana – New Age Spirituality Magazine

There are a lot of misconceptions about Astral Projection floating around online and offline. Let us go through some of the common ones, and throw some light on them.

Myth 1 : Astral Projection is very rare.
Truth : Astral Projection is a very common phenomenon indeed. 5% to 10% of the world’s population has experienced a conscious Out of body experience at least once. This means around 6 million in the U.K or as much as 30 million in the United States.

Myth 2 : Astral Projection is always spontaneous. You cannot learn it.
Truth : Yes, you can learn to Astral Project at will. There are countless techniques that teach you how to have an OOBE. Since every individual is different, no particular technique is best for everybody. You have to find out which method is best for you. Just like anything in life, you have to practice and get good at it.

Myth 3 : Not everyone can learn to Astral Project. It is only for a selected few.
Truth :Yes, anyone can Astral Project. But it requires some practice, consistency and open-mindedness. Just like you learn to walk, ride a bicycle or swim, Astral Projection is a skill you need to learn.

Myth 4 : Only adults can Astral Project because they are more matured.
Truth : Not at all. Age is never a factor for Astral Projection. It’s a fact that children Astral Project more than adults. The reason is that children are innocent and they believe everything is possible. So they achieve Astral Projection more easily.

But we adults do not believe everything easily. The sooner we can be open-minded and start believing, the easier it would be to Project. But age, in itself, is never a roadblock for Projection. The only hindrance is your level of belief.

Myth 5 : Astral Projection is not safe.
Truth : Astral Projection is a natural experience reported in every culture and society of the world. It is safe for most people. But anyone who has acute psychological problems should avoid it.

Myth 6 : It takes several years to achieve a conscious Astral Projection.
Truth : Since every individual is different, no one can guarantee how long it can take. Some achieve it in the first try and others do not achieve it even in two years! But if tried consistently, about 30 days is a fair enough time to experience at least one projection.

Myth 7 : It is possible that you may not be able to get back into the physical body.
Truth : You see, every night when we sleep, our Astral body is out of our physical body. We are just not conscious about it. During Astral Projection, we are aware of the fact that we’re in another dimension. Since after every night’s sleep we can easily get back into the body, we can do the same after Astral Projection too

The surprising fact is that it is difficult to stay out of the body. Getting back into your body is instant and automatic. Your Astral Body is connected to your physical body by a Silver Cord, which ensures that you can always get back in

Myth 8 : You can get possessed during Astral Projection.
Truth : This is a very common question in most people’s minds. No. There is no danger of you being possessed by other entities. Your Astral Body is attached to your physical body by a Silver Cord. No one else can sever it and enter your body.

Myth 9 : Astral Projection changes a person’s religious beliefs.
Truth : Published in 1992, there was an in-depth study of 350 participants done by Dr.Melvin Morse. According to that study, Out-of-body experiences did not seem to alter one’s religious beliefs. In fact, most people reported that their religious beliefs have been confirmed and strengthened by their out-of-body experiences.

Myth 10 : You cannot go very far when out of the body?
Truth : There is no limit defined as to how far you can go away from the physical body. But it is important to note that there are certain areas that you do not readily have access to unless you have spiritually graduated to those areas. There are several planes apart from the Astral Plane. You cannot visit a higher vibratory plane in a lower vibratory body.

Myth 11 : There is no cord that connects the Astral and the Physical bodies.
Truth : There is definitely a Silver Cord that connects the two bodies. You may or may not be able to see it, but it is always there. Even the Bible talks about it.

Through the Silver Cord, transference of energy takes place and it gives life to the physical. As long as the person is alive, this cord is intact. It can be likened to the umbilical cord attaching a child to the mother.

Myth 12 : Other Astral entities sever the Silver Cord.
Truth : No. The Silver Cord cannot be severed by anyone. This only happens when the hour of death has arrived to a person and that comes by law.

Myth 13. The Astral Plane is full of dangerous negative entities
Truth : Yes, there are negative entities in the Astral Plane but they are not dangerous.
They can do no harm to you in any way.

Remember, in the Astral, your thoughts have power. If you don’t like something, you can always change them into something you want. By not being afraid, you can make these entities vanish or turn them into something more pleasant.

If any of these entities do scare you, at the most you will slump back in your physical.

Many of these negative entities are self-created. They are nothing but manifestations of our own fears that appear as thought-forms. In order to avoid bumping into any of these entities, you should attempt Projection in a good mood. The rule in the Astral Plane is: Like attracts like. If you are in a negative or bad mood, you will attract negative thought-forms. But if you Project with positive and loving thoughts, you will most likely attract positive and loving entities.

Myth 14 : When a person wakes up after Projection, he feels really tired.
Truth : During Astral Projection, the physical body sleeps normally, so when you wake up, you feel very refreshed.

Myth 15 : We cannot touch objects in the Astral.
Truth : Yes, you can touch and feel Astral objects on the Astral, just as you can touch physical ones in the Physical Plane. But in the Astral, under normal circumstances, you cannot touch Physical objects. If you attempt, your hand will pass right through it. That’s why you have heard that your Astral body can pass through walls!

Myth 16 : It is necessary to be good at visualization.
Truth : Visualization is not a necessary ingredient for Projection. But if the Projector can increase his ability to visualize it will help him progress faster.

Myth 17 : Drugs be used to help induce Projection
Truth : Some kinds of Drugs do induce projection. But I do not recommend any kinds of drugs because they harm your Astral vehicle.

The key to a productive out-of-body experience is complete control and control is the first thing lost when you use any kind of mind-altering substance. Drugs curtail your spiritual growth. They take you to the lower Astral Plane full of confusion and disorientation. It is dull, gloomy, and full of negative energy. The lower Astral is very unlike the vibrant, progressive, positive Astral we are seeking to achieve.

Why contaminate the biological vehicle when effective results can be achieved naturally? Don’t put your body at risk. If there is real desire to experience Astral Projection then that desire, along with consistent practice will get you there.

Myth 18 : It is impossible to meet with other human beings during Projection
Truth : That’s not true. It is possible to meet other human beings. But if you want to talk them meaningfully, they should be conscious. If we find them and they are dreaming they will look drunk! They may not recognize us but later when they awake, they may remember seeing us in a dream.

Myth 19 : When we are Astral Projecting, by taking the name of a friend, say “John”, by mistake we can visit some other person by the same name “John”.
Truth : In the Astral, your thoughts are the key to where you want to go. Your higher self knows whom you want to visit and take you to the correct person. Here, the name of the person doesn’t matter at all. Since you are thinking of that person, you will reach there.

Myth 20 : Astral projection doesn’t prove life after death.
Truth : People, who have experienced proper conscious OOBE even once, start to strongly believe in life after death. Finding themselves outside their physical bodies and still functioning, still able to see, hear, touch, even smell and taste, still able to do everything and more, how can anyone deny that life goes on?

Tips To Achieve Astral Projection

Tips To Achieve Astral Projection

It is not easy to induce an out of body experience (also known as astral projection). It takes a trained mind, and a very relaxed body to achieve success. For those of you who have already mastered the fine art of relaxation, and are now ready to take the leap towards having a real out of body experience, these tips below will help you fulfill this spiritual journey.

Seven Tips To Help Induce An Out Of Body Experience

Lie on your bed and imagine that a rope is suspended over your bed. Picture your Astral Self taking hold of this rope. Now, placing one hand above the other, slowly pull yourself up towards the ceiling. Be conscious of the rope sliding through your hands, the way your body feels as you pull yourself off your bed, and the strength in your arms as you slowly pull yourself up.

This method of inducing an out of body experience is so easy that even those who have had trouble reaching this level in previous attempts will have success.

For those who lack the strength to pull themselves up the imaginary rope, there is the ladder technique. Using the same visualization techniques, slowly climb the ladder, being aware of the physical and mental sensations in your body.

This method of producing an out of body experience involves one’s self becoming very aware of the workings of their own body in conjunction with visualizing the surrounding area. Intense concentration is required to produce results with this method.

Once you are relaxed, and have visualized your surroundings, you may feel yourself floating a few inches over your bed. Visualize your room from this new vantage point.

Some force may be needed, but you can further rise out of your physical body if you have achieved a state of utter relaxation. This method is harder to master than most, but is the easiest to use once you have mastered the technique.

The trick to this technique is learning to create a body-double. Sit, or lie down, in a room that you are very familiar with. You then start to visualize your body, starting with your feet and working your way clear up to your hair. Include any detail that would help your body-double become more real to you.

Once this visualization is complete, you are ready to allow your body-double to sit or stand up. You may feel pressure in your chest or head; this is normal, and means that you have reached the state of out of body experience and should now be aware that your focus is coming from your projected body.

This method is often used in conjunction with methods that have failed in previous attempts.

Lie on your bed and visualize your body rolling back and forth on the bed. This is a normal motion made during sleep, so it should be easy enough to visualize. While doing so, feel the movement and the pressure points as your body touches the bed and then rocks to the other side.

Using this method with other methods will help you achieve a successful out of body experience. For some reason, this method is pretty ineffective when done alone.

People who drive, or play computer games where they drive, often find themselves driving in a trance-like state. It is easy to lose track of where you are, and how long you have been driving. Many times you reach your destination without remembering a thing about the journey getting there.

Using images related to driving – the motion and changing landscape – will help you reach a deep trance in no time at all. Then you can use one of the other methods to make your actual projection outward.

This method is rarely used because of the obvious reason: it is much too easy to get into this trance state; associating it with real driving can be dangerous to the health of anyone on the road with said driver.

This technique actually brings you into a world of virtual reality. Instead of just having an out of body experience where your body goes to a specific place in the Astral realm, you can enter virtually any picture and feel the life within it.

Once you are fully relaxed, take a picture or painting and picture yourself within its landscape. Gently push your conscious body-double into the picture and enjoy exploring this virtual world.

This technique is hard to learn, but most satisfying when successfully done. Not only do you have an out of body experience, you get to explore virtual worlds within your own world.

Astral Projection Without Sleep Paralysis

For many people, sleep paralysis is the hardest stage of OBE. But is it possible to astral project without sleep paralysis? The answer is yes, but it requires lots of time and practice.

Paralysis makes it easy for the astral body to leave the physical body. When you practice more, paralysis doesn’t seem necessary for astral projection.

Full control over body and mind is also the requirement so that your body doesn’t move intentionally when your astral body leaves the physical body.

10 Things About Astral Projection You Will Find Interesting

by Conscious Reminder

Astral projection is defined as an out-of-body experience. This is a simple and understandable definition.

Our astral bodies literally float away from our physical bodies. This sounds quite bizarre, and maybe like something which came from some science fiction movie, but we should be aware that it really happens.

And, it happens more frequently then we know. What does astral projection feel like and what we should know about such an experience?

Here are some facts and myths about astral projection, and we will answer specific questions related to it:

1. What does astral projection feel like; is it secure?

Astral projection really feels as it actually sounds if we can imagine how our bodies float away from us and we are entirely conscious of it. Simultaneously, it is quite exhilarating and surreal, but it is safe.

2. Is astral projection a gift we were born with?

It isn’t a gift, because every person is able to perform astral projection; however, it requires practice and patience. Opposite of some popular beliefs, age isn’t a factor. Actually, kids are naturals when it comes to astral projection because their imagination is limitless and wonderful, and they believe that anything in the world is possible, and adults continually doubt of their abilities.

3. How long will this experience last?

Although it could feel like we were gone for several days, months, and even years, this state will only last several hours. We can actually feel like we have experienced our entire life. Moreover, the projection may last as long as we want to. The length of the experience can be controlled.

4. Are we completely disconnected from our bodies or can we still feel attached?

There is the so-called Silver Cord that still connects us at the soul level. Many people claimed that they have seen it so that we can see or cannot see it. In fact, it can’t be severed, as this happens only when we die.

5. Do negative energies exist, which can influence our state?

Although there are negative entities, we can easily avoid them, meaning that no harm may come to us. During our astral state, we can still control our mind and thoughts. We may easily steer ourselves away from negativities we come across.

6. How are astral projection and lucid dreaming different?

How can we know in which state we are? Well, the difference is clear. Lucid dreaming is a state during which we dream, while we are asleep, but we still have some power over our dreams. However, astral projection is the state during which we aren’t sleeping, but we are wide awake. We leave our bodies, and anything or anyone we connect with is quite real.

7. Can we see dead individuals, or this is only a myth?

Yes, we can. We will not only see dead individuals, but we may also help them in finding their ways towards the light, in order to safely pass to the appropriate side. We can even talk to dead relatives if we choose so.

8. What can we do while we are in this astral state?

We will continually ask ourselves if we can fly around. Yes, we can fly all over the planet if we want. We can even fly to some other planets, or different realms, and talk with spirits. We name it, and we are able to do it. There are endless possibilities. We can do whatever we want.

9. Do we need to practice for a more extended period before we can accomplish the astral state?

Some people claim to project during the first, or also the second time when they tried. Others say that it takes quite a good practice before projecting, and even after such practice, the projection isn’t perfect.

10. What benefits astral projection offers, if there are any, of course?

One benefit would be that we reach the expanded consciousness which will enable us to see this world and our lives in a completely different light. We become quite more spiritual, eager to learn, or we understand more related to astral realms. When we step out of our zone of comfort and into an entirely new world, it will be something exhilarating and liberating.
